Your information, and what we do with it

Who we are

Radicool Services LTD is a company registered in England and Wales, number 13587756, at 38 Alice Gardens, Rochford, Essex, SS4 1YD. We are the data controller for the information described here, which means we decide what is collected and why.

What we collect, and when

We only collect what we need to price and carry out work, and we only collect it when you give it to us.

• When you use the estimator: your name, phone number, email address, postcode, your answers to the questions, and anything you write in the notes box.
• When you call, email or message us: whatever you choose to tell us, and the contact details you use.
• When you visit the site: anonymous statistics about which pages are viewed. These cannot be traced back to you, and no cookies are involved.

Why we hold it, and on what basis

• To give you a price and arrange a visit. Without your contact details we cannot reply. Our lawful basis is that this is necessary to take steps at your request before entering a contract.
• To carry out and stand behind the work, including warranty and safety records. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in running the business properly, and in some cases a legal obligation, such as gas safety records.
• To understand how the site is used. Our lawful basis is our legitimate interest in knowing which pages are useful, which is possible here because the statistics are anonymous and set no cookies.

We do not sell your information, and we do not send marketing you have not asked for.

Who else sees it

A few suppliers process information on our behalf. They are bound to use it only for what we ask, and each is a well-established provider with its own published privacy terms.

• Netlify, which hosts this website and serves its pages.
• Resend, which delivers the estimate emails to us and to you.
• Cloudflare, which produces anonymous statistics about how the site is used. It sets no cookies and does not identify you.

Some of these providers operate outside the UK. Where that happens, transfers are covered by the safeguards those providers publish, such as standard contractual clauses.

How long we keep it

Enquiries that do not become work are kept for two years from our last contact with you, then deleted. Records relating to work we have carried out are kept longer, because warranties, safety records and tax records all require it. Gas safety records in particular have their own retention rules that we follow.

Your rights

Under UK data protection law you can ask us to:

• Show you what we hold about you.
• Correct anything that is wrong.
• Delete it, where we are not required to keep it.
• Stop using it for a particular purpose, or restrict how we use it.
• Send it to you or someone else in a portable format.

Email info@radicoolservices.co.uk and we will deal with it. There is no charge and we will respond within one month.

If you are not happy with how we have handled it, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or by calling 0303 123 1113. We would rather you came to us first so we can put it right.

Cookies

A cookie is a small file a website leaves on your device. This site does not set any.

We measure how the site is used with Cloudflare Web Analytics, which was chosen precisely because it needs no cookies and cannot identify anybody. That is also why there is no banner asking you to accept anything: there is nothing to accept.

Changes to this notice

We update this when what we do changes. This version is dated 27 August 2026.
